Description

The High School Student position supports the success of the after school program participants by providing
additional attention, encouragement, and support. This position offers high school students valuable hands-on experience working in a
learning environment while developing leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Tutor and
    assist students with homework and academic activities
  • Mentor and engage with program participants in a supportive and encouraging
    manner
  • Assist staff with implementing after-school program activities
  • Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive
    learning environment
  • Serve as a positive role model for younger students
  • Support overall program operations and classroom
    management


Shift

10-15 hours per week

Anticipated Hiring Range



The
anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.00 hourly.
