General Description/Primary
Purpose:
The School of Nursing is seeking a 12-month, .50 FTE, non-tenure earning Instructor of Nursing. This position will
report to Debra Harrison, Director, School of Nursing.
Job Functions

Teach in areas of expertise (i.e. Psych
Mental Health, Adult Health, Pediatrics, Community Health, Women’s Health and Obstetrics, Research, Leadership) -
Supervise
students in clinical areas

Participation in School committees
-
Perform nursing and community service in areas
of expertise

The School of Nursing offers a wide variety of programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our programs have a
community-based, population-focused curriculum corresponding to changes in healthcare delivery trends. The curriculum helps students

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

Minimum
of five years clinical experience as RN/APRN
Required Licensure:
- Unencumbered license as RN/APRN in
Florida (or eligible for endorsement for Florida nursing license)
