General Description/Primary
Purpose:

The School of Nursing is seeking a 12-month, .50 FTE, non-tenure earning Instructor of Nursing. This position will
report to Debra Harrison, Director, School of Nursing.

Job Functions

• 
  

  Teach in areas of expertise (i.e. Psych
  Mental Health, Adult Health, Pediatrics, Community Health, Women’s Health and Obstetrics, Research, Leadership)

• Supervise
  students in clinical areas

  
  

• Participation in School committees

• Perform nursing and community service in areas
  of expertise

The position is expected to begin on August 3, 2026.

The School of Nursing offers a wide variety of programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our programs have a
community-based, population-focused curriculum corresponding to changes in healthcare delivery trends. The curriculum helps students

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

• Minimum
  of five years clinical experience as RN/APRN

Required Licensure:

• Unencumbered license as RN/APRN in
  Florida (or eligible for endorsement for Florida nursing license)
