Part-time faculty are pooled positions; appointments are made on an as-needed/rolling basis.

Summary of Position


Teach courses in the Literacy program for the graduate and undergraduate programs; provides in-depth knowledge of Science of Reading; facilitates engaging and interactive classroom experiences, fosters a dynamic learning environment; collaborates with faculty members to enhance the curriculum and align it with industry best practices; stays abreast of current trends and developments in literacy to continually enhance instructional approaches; provides timely feedback, assessment, and support to students, promoting their academic and professional growth.

Position Information



Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations. 


Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.
