Job Summary

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Michigan-Dearborn invites
applications for high school teaching assistants for the 2026 Super Saturdays at UM-Dearborn program. The prerequisite for this position is
that the applicant is either currently in high school or will be in high school as of 3/1/2026, and has participated in Math Corps at
UM-Dearborn. The applicant must have high grades (on supplied high school transcript) in mathematics courses.



Students will be
required to mentor two middle school students. This involves helping them with mathematical homework assigned at camp and grading the
assignments given at camp.
Responsibilities*


High school teaching assistants will be directly responsible for
mentoring two middle school students throughout the morning. The key responsibilities of this position are developing a strong mathematical
relationship with the middle school students.
Work Schedule



Super Saturdays program will run Saturdays only from
9:00AM – 12:30PM.


The program dates are March 28, April 4, 11, 18, and 25.
