As a Student Account Representative, your primary responsibility is to assist students with their financial matters related to their
university accounts. You will serve as a liaison between the University and its students, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution
of account-related issues. 

Responsibilities:


  • Provide excellent customer
    service to students by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns related to their University accounts via email,
    phone, or in-person meetings.
  • Manage student accounts, including billing, payments, refunds, and financial aid disbursement.
    Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions and records.
  • Generate bills and invoices for tuition, fees, housing,
    and other university-related expenses. Process payments, set up payment plans, and reconcile accounts receivable.
  • Assist students
    in understanding their financial aid and how it applies to their university charges.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies,
    state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards related to student accounts and financial transactions.
  • Offer financial
    counseling and education to students on budgeting, managing debt, and financial literacy. Provide resources and referrals to additional
    support services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student account transactions, correspondence, and interactions. Generate
    reports and analyze data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with other university departments,
    such as financial aid, registrar, and student services, to resolve complex student account issues and streamline processes.
  • Conduct workshops, presentations, and informational sessions for students and families on topics related to student accounts, financial aid,
    and financial literacy.
  • Utilize university systems and software for account management, billing, payment processing, and
    communication with students.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Required:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal
    skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle
    sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite. 


Desired:

  • Bachelor’s
    Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience with financial aid processes and
    regulations.
  • Prior experience in student services, financial services, or accounting.
