POSITION: Title IX Coordinator
SALARY: Salary $63,741.

The
Title IX Coordinator will be responsible for providing leadership, coordination and oversight of the College’s compliance efforts with
regard to policies and state and federal laws related to sexual discrimination and misconduct. Duties will include responding to,
investigating, and resolving allegations in consultation with Nebraska State College System Office and providing training and educational
programs to students and employees. Will overseeing all aspects of Title IX compliance; including but not limited to Title IX complaints,
reports of gender discrimination, sexual harassment and sexual violence and related allegations of sexual misconduct as they impact students
or the academic environment. Will investigate and seek resolution to allegations of discrimination and sexual harassment. Will identify and
address any systemic problems relating to complaints and work with other departments to ensure Title IX policies are communicated to all
constituencies. The Coordinator will maintain the College’s Title IX website, ensure accuracy of Title IX and institutional data, and
oversee compliance with required reporting under applicable state and federal laws, as well as monitor statutory and regulatory compliance
requirements related to sexual discrimination and misconduct. Will train, support and coordinate with Title IX designees. May have
occasional evening and weekend work. This position is exempt with regard to FLSA overtime provisions. This position is covered by the NSCPA
bargaining unit.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant working experience including investigations,
prevention programming and education, regulatory, compliance, case management, or experience with related fields such as Student Affairs,
Human Resources, Social Work, Crisis Intervention, and Counseling is required. Additionally, the successful candidate should possess
effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and be able to maintain confidentiality. The successful candidate should
also have the ability to work effectively with a diverse student population, many of whom are first generation college students, and a wide
variety of individuals including faculty, department heads, members of the campus community, and external constituencies.
