Specialty: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine 

Location: 610 Timber Drive in Garner, NC 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. 

UNC Primary Care at Garner is seeking experienced  Physician Assistant to join our primary care team at this brand new, state-of-the-art facility. This is an exceptional opportunity to help shape a new practice, deliver high quality, patient centered care, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of the individuals and families we serve. 

Ideal Candidate Qualifications 

?Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one) 

?Strong interest in caring for medically complex adult patients 

?Demonstrated experience and interest in addressing mental health needs within a primary care setting 

Clinical Services Provided 

?Comprehensive preventive healthcare 

?Acute and sick care 

?Annual physicals and wellness visits 

?Immunizations 

?Women?s health services 

?Management of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma 

?Routine screening and diagnostic testing 

Qualifications 

?Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (PA) 

?Active North Carolina license (or eligibility to obtain one) 

?Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience

Education Requirements:
? Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider ( PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
? Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina.
? Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
? Demonstrated clinical competency.
? Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
? Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
? Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
? Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
