Job Description

The Shuttle Driver shall be responsible for shuttling students during the Academic year, assisting with New Student Registrations, and managing the Harrogate campus route and the Virginia-Tennessee route.

Required Qualifications


High School Diploma & CDL.

Preferred Qualifications


CDL; decision making skills; knowledge of all buildings on the University campus.

Job Duties

  • promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large;
  • promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students;
  • ensure the safety and security of all faculty, staff, and students on the designated shuttle route;
  • keep an up to date Commercial Driver s License(CDL);
  • certified in First Aid and CPR;
  • attend safety training workshops as assigned;
  • maintain shuttle maintenance and cleanliness
  • maintain monthly reports(s) of rides and trips
  • manage the use of a purchase card for purchase of fuel
  • maintain confidentiality as appropriate
  • perform other duties as necessary
