Departmental Objective

The Housing department ensures that student-housing facilities are well maintained, clean and safe for the students of CNU.


Purpose of the Position

This position will ensure the cleanliness of assigned areas by performing various housekeeping tasks.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position

Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies


Skilled in the use of housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaner, buffers, or scrubbing machine

Ability to follow oral and written instructions


Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain positive relations with faculty, staff and students

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required



Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma.


Experience:

  • Experience with cleaning methods and cleaning supplies.

Additional Consideration(s)


Experience:

  • Hotel, higher education or similar housekeeping experience.
  • Experience using housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaner, buffers or scrubbing machine.

Salary Information
Starting at $31,200, Commensurate with Education and Experience
