Bring your expertise in Hematology/Oncology to a mission-driven, academic environment. The Chattanooga VA is seeking a part-time Hematology/Oncology Physician for a combined appointment with the VA Tennessee Valley Health Care System and the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at our academic affiliate.



This is a primarily an outpatient role, with a strong focus on infusions and injections delivered in a modern, team-based setting.

Duties may include:


  • Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinics and outpatient chemotherapy infusion room
  • Inpatient consult service and inpatient/outpatient chemotherapy administration
  • Bone marrow biopsy and aspiration
  • Participation on the inpatient medicine service as needed

You will also serve an important supervisory and teaching role, precepting nurse practitioners, physician assistants, fellows, residents, and medical students within the VA TN Valley Health Care System.
