Description
The position of ATJ (Access to Justice) Student Intern is a short-term
Legal Studies Intern position providing Legal Studies students with real world workplace experience in the field of LAW. Interns will work
remotely with the exception of Problem Solving Court graduation ceramonies.
Examples of
Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
- Prepare Expungements Petitions and Packets.
- Create and implement a case management system including WRAP
court. - Attend Problem Solving Court Graduation Ceremonies.
- Build relationships and meet with Problem Solving Court teams at
Bridgeview, Markham, Maywood, and Chicago WRAP to ensure consistent processes. - Refresh our client intake process and update forms if
needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Successfully completed LAW 101 with a grade of B or higher
at the time of start.
Supplemental Information
Hours: Flexible, up to 20 hours
per week
Location: Hybrid (remote with the exception of attending graduation
ceremonies)
