Position Overview


The HR Data Specialist
serves as a key operational and analytical partner within the Human Resources team, responsible for executing HR business processes,
managing day-to-day case resolution, and supporting system enhancements across HR technology platforms including AskHR, Oracle Cloud HCM,
and Kuali Forms. This role completes a wide range of daily operational tasks that are often cross-functional in nature, requiring
coordination across multiple HR areas and stakeholders to ensure efficient and accurate processing. Working closely with the Senior HR
Analyst, this position contributes to process documentation, system testing, and continuous improvement
efforts.

Responsibilities:


Case Management & AskHR Operations

  • Serve as the primary
    handler for AskHR case intake, triage, and resolution, ensuring timely and accurate responses to campus inquiries.
  • Maintain and
    contribute to the AskHR knowledge base, ensuring articles are current, accurate, and aligned with HR policies and processes.
  • Manage
    AskHR category configuration and process how-to cases in collaboration with the Senior HR Analyst.
  • Execute data clean-up requests
    and audits submitted through AskHR in partnership with the HR Data Specialist.

Oracle HCM & Testing
Support


  • Support Oracle Cloud HCM regression testing and release note review cycles, under the direction of the Senior HR
    Analyst.
  • Assist in the development of test scripts, validate outputs, and ensure system changes align with business requirements
    prior to deployment.
  • Assist with new feature evaluation and project management activities related to Oracle system
    updates.

Operational HR Workflows

  • Process affiliate background checks and manage the DocuSign workflow for
    affiliate onboarding.
  • Coordinate volunteer background check submissions and track completion.
  • Manage change assignment
    approval routing and salary change processing as delegated.

Process Documentation & Collaboration


  • Assist in
    the creation and maintenance of HR business process documentation, SOPs, and process maps.
  • Support the HR Product Inventory and HR
    Project Inventory as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the Senior HR Analyst and HR Data Specialist to identify process improvement
    opportunities based on day-to-day operational experience.
  • Contribute to training materials and participate in training sessions to
    support campus users on HR systems and processes.

Student & Part-Time Hiring

  • Serve as the primary processor
    for student and part-time hire requests, including intake, assignment creation, work relationship establishment, and costing in Oracle
    HCM.
  • Manage student position creation and ongoing position management within Oracle.
  • Process stagehand and other specialized
    part-time hire requests in partnership with the HR Data Specialist.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s
    degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in HR operations, HR
    systems administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with HR technology platforms; familiarity with Oracle Cloud HCM
    and/or Salesforce preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data management and case
    handling.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to respond to campus inquiries in a clear and
    professional manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred
Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, Salesforce, Kuali Forms or similar digital HR
    products/platforms.
  • Familiarity with student employment or part-time hiring processes in a higher education
    environment.
  • Knowledge of HR process improvement practices (Agile, Lean) is a plus.
