Summary:


Hiring Hourly Range: $19.76 to $21.73 depending on qualifications.



Job Summary:

The HR Associate provides comprehensive administrative and operational support within Human Resources – specifically
supporting the employee relations and learning and leadership development teams. Daily, monthly and annual responsibilities are listed
below. Other duties may be assigned from time to time.



Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage unemployment claims by
    entering hire and termination data, retrieving pay stubs, and verifying employee teaching assignments.
  • Prepare and coordinate new
    hire orientations, including running new hire reports, notifying Training & Development of employee status changes, sending communications,
    and coordinating with presenters.
  • Maintain and update SEIU union membership records in the HRIS.
  • Obtain, track, and maintain
    faculty and administrative transcripts.
  • Manage and update education-related tasks within the HRIS system.

Monthly
Responsibilities:


  • Launch and manage probationary evaluation communications.
  • Monitor completion of evaluations and
    follow up with supervisors to ensure timely submission.
  • Track completion status on a weekly basis and report
    progress.

Quarterly Responsibilities:

  • Process reemployment invoices, including entering banking information
    and submitting payments through the appropriate system.

Annual Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate Service Awards
    program, including eligibility verification, communication with Campus Presidents, and event planning in collaboration with the
    Foundation.
  • Manage event logistics such as catering, certificate creation, printing, and award presentations.
  • Prepare and
    distribute award presentations for All College Day.
  • Support Commencement activities by preparing and verifying graduate lists and
    coordinating final submissions.
  • Ensure compliance posters are updated across all locations in coordination with the Marketing
    team.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research related to position and degree information for SAX
    reporting.
  • Retrieve and analyze evaluation data as needed.
  • Perform related duties as required.

Minimum
Qualifications:


The position requires at least an Associate’s degree or two-year College equivalent (at least 60
undergraduate semester hours) and at least two years of prior-related work experience. The position requires at least a High School diploma
or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with HRIS and
    data management, preferably Workday
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills with attention to
    detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and HR reporting
    processes
