Job Description
The Land of the Osages Research Farm (LORF), part of the Central Missouri Research,
Extension and Education Center (CM-REEC) seeks a part-time Sr. Agriculture Associate to support research and teaching activities within the
University of Missouri’s agricultural program. This role performs routine general farm maintenance at the farm located on a western edge of
the Lake of the Ozarks near Gravois Mills, Missouri.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mowing
- Bushhog
mowing - Fence repair
- Shop cleaning and maintenance
- Road maintenance
- Planting trees, shrubs, forages with or
without tractor operated implements. - Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Shift
Average 10 hrs per week. Monday-Friday 8 am – 5 pm. Days and hours will vary depending on weather and
workload.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience from which
comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior
farming experience or equivalent experience working with agricultural experiment projects and supporting activities around reseasrch
plots. - General knowledge of farmin procedures
- Ability to operate, maintain and make repairs on highly specialized farm
equipment and machinery. - Good physical health and corrdination as required to perform duties.
- A commercial driver’s licens
may be requried for some positions.
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this
position has been established as $17.40 -$25.00 hourly.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to,
the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
