The Campus Catering Department is seeking to hire a Catering Coordinator. The Catering
Coordinator will work along with the Catering Specialist to complete the delivery, setup, and breakdown of food, beverage, decor, and other
necessary items for catering events, both on campus and at satellite locations.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
The Catering Coordinator ensures
customer satisfaction through attendance and monitoring of events, refreshment of food and beverage, location cleanup, and timely assistance
of on-site catering requests, questions, or concerns.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Works with
Catering Specialist in organizing and completing event orders, to include packing lists. - Packs equipment and supplies in a timely
and organized manner. - Maintains knowledge of proper packing techniques for both hot and cold foods.
- Operates catering
vehicles both on and off campus. - Works with Catering Specialist to ensure cleanliness and organization of catering-related storage
areas. - Inventories all related goods, including linen, decor, serviceware, and disposable goods on a weekly
basis. - Coordinates all supply orders to the Catering Manager and ensures consistent stock of all necessary goods.
- Maintains
equipment and coordinates repairs with the Catering Manager. - Ensures up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal foodservice
regulations. - Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school
diploma or GED and one year of related experience. ServSafe Certification required or must be obtained within six months of
employment.
Preferred Requirements:
- Must have a valid GA driver’s license.
- Must have or
obtain ServSafe certification within 6 months of employment. - Computer skills, including MS Office.
- Prefer previous
experience in customer service. - Physical Requirements: Extended standing, walking for long periods of time, ability to bend, stoop,
reach, and climb on a regular basis. - Ability to lift 35 pounds.
- Ability to work in all temperature conditions.
- Flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends.
Anticipated Hiring Range: $39,200 – $47,100. Salary offers will be
determined based on the candidate’s qualifications in relation to the Minimum Hiring Standards. Candidates earlier in their careers are
typically offered salaries closer to the minimum of the hiring range, while those with more advanced or relevant experience may be
considered for compensation at or above the hiring range.
