Job Description:
The Nursing
Clinical Coordinator is responsible for managing clinical sites for post-licensure nursing courses. This individual also provides general
administrative support for program accreditation and other department matters. The coordinator works closely with the Lab Manager, lead
faculty for the clinical and lab courses, and the Chief Nurse Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and
schedule all nursing student clinical experiences, and work with students to ensure all required documentation is in
order. - Maintain clinical partnerships, including identifying new partners, and maintaining affiliation agreements.

Deploy evaluation
tools, compile results, and share clinical site evaluation reporting - Assist in the collection and analysis of
data to support
program review. - Contribute to reporting and documentation related to curriculum, assessment, accreditation and
program/curricular
changes. - Attend departmental meetings and contribute to departmental decision making conversations.

Participate/attend
departmental recruitment events - Advise students
- Maintenance of web and print material as appropriate.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- Earned bachelor’s degree in any field or
current license as a
Registered Nurse in New York State, or eligibility for licensure. - Minimum 1 year experience with clinical
placements, healthcare
administration, or a related profession. - Proficiency in Google and/or Microsoft Office software suites
- Exceptional
organizational skills - Demonstrated ability to build productive relationship with internal and external
partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in New York State, or eligibility for
licensure. - Experience in the higher education setting
- Familiarity with area healthcare institutions
- Experience
with assessment or
quality assurance - Familiarity with compliance requirements and best practices related to nursing program
administration
Additional Information:
Salary: $62,360
