The Human
Resources Administration at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a HR Transaction Specialist I (Temp) to
provide support to the Human Capital Management team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position is responsible for
effectively processing, maintaining, and updating employee data for the HCM System & OneUSG, with a high degree of accuracy and
adherence to procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Audit and verify data entered in the HCM
system. - Run queries in the HCM to reconcile various transactions against data entered in job bank.
- Process written
Employment Verifications and eVerify authorizations. - Interact with internal and external customers to collect data and provide
customer service. - Assist in the creation and maintenance of personnel files and the file room.
- Create and/or reallocate
position numbers, as required. - Performs other related duties as assigned.
NOTE: This position is located
100% on GSU’s main campus in Downtown Atlanta. This position is also temporary.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree and one
year of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- At least 1 year of University System of Georgia (USG) or State of Georgia, Human Resources experience.

Salary: $17.50
