The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) will provide medical care and emergency response
support for campers and staff throughout the basketball summer camp. This role ensures a safe environment by assessing injuries,
administering basic first-aid, and coordinating with local emergency services when needed. The EMT will be on-site every day to respond to
incidents and support overall camper well-being. This position is essential to maintaining health and safety standards and plays a critical
role in emergency preparedness and response.

Duties/Responsibilities


Medical Response (50%)

  • Provide care
    for injuries or medical emergencies during camp activities.
  • Assess and stabilize campers or staff before transfer to advanced
    medical care if needed.
  • Communicate with emergency services and assist with transport coordination when required.

Daily
Health Monitoring and Support
(30%)


  • Monitor campers for signs of dehydration, illness, or other health issues.
  • Administer
    first aid and basic care for minor injuries (cuts, sprains, etc.).

Documentation and Communication (20%)

  • Record all
    incidents, treatments, and observations accurately and promptly.
  • Communicate health concerns with camp staff and
    parents/guardians.

Minimum Qualifications


Required Licenses & Certifications:

  • Certified EMT in the
    state of New Hampshire

Compensation Pay Range:



$35/hour
