account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience
and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of
each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Job
Description
The subject matter expert (SME) resource manager oversees the recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, and management of SMEs.
The resource manager will apply proven skills to analyze, problem solve, identify, communicate, organize, and manage SME participation in
projects related to program development. This individual collaborates with external and internal stakeholders to effectively and
professionally manage SME resources.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Recruits external and internal SMEs for
development projects according to established qualification specifications
2. Manages SME participation in development projects
3.
Maintains efficient communication with SME and stakeholders
4. Acts as liaison between university staff and SMEs
5. Processes and
manages all required WGU documents for contracted SMEs
6. Confirms and processes compensation for SME participation in development
projects
7. Processes and manages feedback for SME participation in development projects
8. Manages logistics for SME participation in
development projects as needed
9. Fulfills other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to functional work OR 3-5
years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable
work experience - Online education, especially assessment in online education
- Project management experience preferred
- Recruitment or HR experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Working Conditions
This position
requires occasional travel of up to 20%, including required attendance at designated company summits (typically one to two per year).
Additional travel may include conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events as needed. Additional travel may
be assigned as needed to support business requirements.

Full-Time Regular Positions
(classified as regular and working 40 standard weekly hours): This is a full-time, regular position (classified for 40 standard weekly
