Description

The School of Education at St. Bonaventure is hiring a part-time administrative assistant to support the work of the Counselor Education department. The assistant will be responsible for clerical and managerial duties relevant to the online Counselor Education program. The assistant will work closely with the program director as well as interact with faculty, staff, and students on a regular basis.



Examples of Duties

Clerical support for the department primarily the program director
70%


Student support to supplement that provided by faculty advisors
10%

Developing and maintaining work flows and processes to maximize efficiencies
20%

Other duties as assigned

Typical Qualifications

Education:

Required: High school diploma
Preferred: Associates or bachelor’s degree in office administration or a related field

Years of Experience:


Required: 1 year in a relevant area
Preferred: 2 or more years in a relevant area

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


Adept at Microsoft Office Suit
Strong organizational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong technology skills

Working Conditions:


This is a remote position for part time work of 20 hours per week.
