Summary
Parking Services at CU Boulder invite applications for the Event Parking Supervisor
positions! There are two positions available. This role exists to act as a special event lead worker who oversees concession
sales, general and reserve parking and traffic flows in specified area on the CU Boulder campus. This is a 1% on call position working
events that include evening’s weekends, and holidays with no guarantee of any number of work hours. There are uniform requirements, and the
incumbent is responsible for knowing and complying with uniform policies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, participating in
event briefings, directing traffic, cash handling & reconciliation, and resolving customer problems. In addition, the incumbent shall be
assigned to various shifts via the ShiftBoard scheduling system. Ability to follow and understand written and oral instructions related to
the specific event’s logistics.

Who We Are
Parking Services (PS) is a department within the Auxiliary Services unit of
Finance and Business Strategy (FBS) at the University of Colorado Boulder. The FBS goal is to provide innovative customer service and

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Event Supervision
- Responsible for coordinating event related assignments and equipment for an assigned
group of parking attendants, comprised of students and contract agency employees, within a defined area of campus. Ability to make quick
decisions related to unique variables that may occur during events. This position will need to work independently with and without direct
supervision. In addition, the incumbent shall also provide detailed onsite briefings related to the specific event’s logistics. Must adhere
to CU and Parking Services Internal Audit regulations. Keep Events Managers fully informed of event equipment, personnel, and event related
topics.
Customer Service
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service, and requires listening to guest
needs in order to provide satisfactory solutions to their questions or situation. The position requires a knowledge of campus geography,
parking facilities and procedures, and the ability to communicate to a diverse clientele. Primarily, this will include discussions about
parking costs, and general information about campus or local amenities. The incumbent is responsible for reading and understanding event
position assignment documents and for all necessary tools required on-post such as correct uniform, radio, traffic vest, flashlight
etc.
Training
- Responsible for completing all University of Colorado at Boulder required trainings and all Parking
Services required trainings. Incumbent is responsible for tracking their assigned events and other duties as assigned that assist in the
operations and activities of the Parking Services Department.
Other Duties
- Responds to emergent needs as directed
by supervisor or university/department leadership.

What We Require
- Must have a current valid driver’s license.
- Will need to pass a motor
vehicle background check. - Must be available to work a minimum number of events:
- An average of 5 event or equipment shifts a
month in addition to all required - Shifts deemed critical by Parking Services leadership.
What We Would Like You to
