University Center for Developmental Disabilities (UCDD) is a program that serves
children with disabilities and their families. The center is administered through University Enterprises Corporation (UEC) at CSUSB. The
Assistant Program Coordinator will be responsible for the programming, assessing the training needs of UCDD front-line personnel and
parents. Assist with planning, scheduling, and facilitating training for parent groups. Assist with planning and facilitate or assist with
Supervisor meetings.

quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported
with state funds. We’re responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store,
and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored
projects.
Position Summary
Temporary, Staff, Non-Exempt, Full Time, Benefited position through 6/30/2027
(Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job
performance).
Salary: $4,200.00-$4,800.00 per month.
Location: UCDD CSUSB location, and
other on campus locations.
Work Schedule
40 hours per week. Typically Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
Some nights and weekends may be required.

Typical Activities
Under minimal supervision of UCDD’s Director, the Assistant Project Coordinator
will work independently to:
- Develop and implement Individualized Intervention Programs for the clients and parents adhering to the
program guidelines of the funding agency under the supervision of the Director or Project Coordinator. - Prepare and submit periodic
progress reports to the funding agencies and parents. - Responsibilities encompass conducting parent interviews, assessing clients,
programming for clients and parents, and preparing progress reports. - Responsible for planning and implementing staff and parent
training and other training needs, but not limited to pre-service, in-service training. - Provide aid in the schedule management of
all employees (Counselors, Supervisors, and Behavior Technician Assistants) both in-center and telehealth employees. - Mentor staff as
directed and assist with generating performance evaluations. - Coordinate and conduct assessments for programing and reporting
including direct observation and parent interviews. - Monitor staff to ensure that program principles and procedures are followed and
will advise the Director or Project Coordinator if corrective action is required. - Guide and instruct staff to ensure that quality
services are provided to the clients and the families in the program. Ensure staff provide required data and input in the practice
system. - Design and update documentation and forms necessary for the training needs and assessment, programming, reporting to the
funding agencies and parents. - Conduct instructional staff employment interviews, make recommendations to the Director in the staff
hiring process. - Organize and conduct projects and events under the supervision of the Director and/or Project
Coordinator. - Occasionally, there may be in-state conferences, meetings, and marketing functions to attend; approximately 1-2 times
per year.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- An AA degree in psychology or closely
related fields. - Candidate may have 8 years’ Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) experience in lieu of the preceding.
- Experience:
- Three (3) years of experience in ABA therapy working with children who have autism
and/or a developmental disability.
- Other:
- Have the ability to accurately maintain
training records and files according to HIPPA regulations. The employee must have the ability to maintain a high degree of
confidentiality. - Have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, along with the ability to follow directions, take
initiative, be flexible, able to multi-task under minimal supervision, and make critical decisions on a day-to-day basis. - The
ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures with minimal supervision and use judgment and discretion to act when precedents do
not exist. The employee must be able to troubleshoot most office administration problems and respond timely to inquiries and requests
related to the work area. - The ability to learn, interpret, and apply a variety of academic and organizational policies and
procedures. - Applicants must have experience using standard office software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and
Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications
- MS in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Social Work, Counseling or
related field. - 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Experience working with compliance documentation and reporting.
