JOB DESCRIPTION AND
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics is seeking applicants for the part-time job of grader.


Job duties to include:

  • Grading coursework for an introductory course (e.g., ASTRO 1, ASTRO 7N, ASTRO 19N)

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:


  • Have basic astronomy knowledge at the level
    equivalent to ASTRO 1 or higher

  • Be responsible

  • Complete the grading in a thorough and timely manner


Schedule:

  • Expected hours will be approximately 5-15 hours/week.


Compensation:

The starting rate for this job is $15/hour.


The selected candidate will report to Dr.
Chris Palma. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
