Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide academic assistance to students in specific subjects corresponding to COD curricula and serve as a resource to other academic assistants and peer tutors. Face-to-face or online tutoring may occur one-on-one, in small or large groups, or a class. Ability to work without direct supervision.
Qualifications:
Education
- Associate’s degree and/or COD CTE certificate required.
- COD degree preferred.
Experience
- Experience tutoring or providing academic assistance to college or high school level students required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in spoken and written English required.
- Experience with online interactive technology (i.e. Zoom) preferred.
