ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
FosterAvenue.com · Remote · Full-Time
Foster Avenue, a philanthropic communications and
counsel firm with 40 years on the leading edge of the field, is hiring an Account Executive to keep our client work moving and our senior
team focused on strategy. We are a fully virtual firm that measures results, not hours.
The role starts by owning the day-to-day of
our accounts. For the right person, it is built to grow into something broader.
Are you the person who brings order to chaos, who
tracks
every moving part so nothing slips? A client-whisperer with laser attention to detail, and the ambition to become more than your job
description? Do you have a feel for the world of philanthropy and the institutions that shape it?
If your eyebrows are raised, we
would like to hear from you.
The role
You will own the day-to-day of our client accounts: the schedules, the details,
the follow-through. You carry the account management and coordination so our principals can stay on strategy, clients, and new work. You are
the guardian of process and the reason things get done. Do it well, and there is real room to grow.
What you will
do
- Run project schedules and keep every account moving, on time and without surprises.
- Be the steady point of contact
for clients on status, drafts, proofs, and timelines. - Coordinate creative and freelance talent against the delivery schedule, and
brief them on client needs and context. - Keep firm leadership current on all work in progress, so principals spend their time on
counsel and new business rather than coordination. - Own account operations end to end for your assigned clients, deepen those
relationships over time, and grow into broader account ownership. - Work fluently in our tooling. We run on Monday.com, slack, custom
Ai tooling, etc.
Where this can go
This is not a static seat. For someone with the right capacity and drive, it
opens toward deeper client counsel, managing the relationships and networks that grow our business, and a larger role in the firm. We are
looking for a dynamic contributor, not only a project manager, and we will invest in a person who shows they can become one.
To
thrive, you must:
- Run many fast-moving projects through steady process and flexible priorities.
- Work independently
and as part of a lean, senior team. - Bring exceptional organization, time management, and written and verbal
communication. - Hold a high degree of accountability and ownership for your work.
- Have three or more years in project or
account management. Agency experience preferred.
Even better if you bring:
- Experience growing business through
relationships, partnerships, or a professional network. - Insight into our world: philanthropy, higher education, healthcare, or
cultural advancement. - A track record of outgrowing your role and taking on more.
Compensation and
benefits
- Salary: $65,000 to $92,000, depending on experience and the scope you take on.
- Company-paid group health
insurance, with Foster Avenue covering a portion of the monthly premium. - Company-paid life, accidental death and dismemberment, and
short- and long-term disability coverage. A 401(k) through Vanguard with a 3% safe-harbor contribution and discretionary profit-sharing,
plus pretax and Roth options. Ten paid company holidays and an accruing bank of paid time off.
To apply
Send your
resume and a short cover note to careers@fosteravenue.com. In the note, answer one question
directly: name one system, tool, or process you built that a client or team still uses today. Tell us the organization, roughly when you
built it, who runs it now, and the one thing you deliberately cut to make it simple enough for someone else to run.
