The School of Liberal Arts, Business, and Leadership at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant position.



The position will provide support across the School of Liberal Arts, Business, and Leadership with primary service and support to Business (graduate and undergraduate) and Fashion Design and Merchandising programs. This position performs a wide variety of administrative support services that contribute to the efficient and professional operation of University offices, with a focus on service, organization, and support. The incumbent is responsible for providing reception, information services, administrative assistance, and project support.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Ability to respond respectfully and effectively to people of all cultures in a manner that affirms the worth and preserves the dignity of individuals, families, and communities.
  • Proactive organizational skills with attention to detail; communication skills; problem-solving skills; self-motivation; knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and other software platforms; a helpful attitude toward students, faculty, and staff; ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing demands.
  • Perform duties at a very high level and at a level greater than expected.
  • Develop systems to organize information in the most logical and efficient manner.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to edit PDFs and familiarity with Banner before being hired.

Compensation:
Hourly wage is $18.50 – $21.00 depending on qualifications and experience.


The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.
