Summary of Job Duties:
The Administrative Specialist III will
perform general office work, provide support to faculty, staff, and students; and communicate with on-campus and external units. This role
will support programs within the department working with program coordinators, and assisting current and potential students with program
admissions, enrollment, inquiries, and communication. The Administrative Specialist III will work with the Administrative Supervisor and
program coordinators to schedule courses for assigned programs.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job
duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with
others.



Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:


  • The formal education equivalent of a
    high school diploma
  • At least one year of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work
    performed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At
    least one year of work experience in an office setting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • Experience with
    University of Arkansas systems (e.g., Workday, Blackboard)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):


  • Knowledge of
    University policy and procedures
  • Ability to problem solve independently
  • Ability to problem solve in a team
