position of assistant vice president for transportation, parking & mobility services (AVP). This is an on-site leadership role.

Reporting to the
senior associate
vice chancellor and senior associate vice president for administration, the assistant vice president for transportation,
parking &
mobility services provides visionary leadership for one of the largest and most complex parking and mobility operations in higher
education.
The position is responsible for the strategic direction, financial stewardship, planning, and operational management of the UH’s
comprehensive parking, transportation, and mobility enterprise, which supports the needs of a vibrant urban campus community of nearly
49,000 students, as well as faculty, staff, visitors, patients, and event attendees.
The AVP manages an annual budget of $28.2
million, leads a highly experienced team of 15 professionals, including five direct reports, and oversees an auxiliary operation that
manages more than 25,000 parking spaces across six parking garages, numerous gated and ungated surface lots, visitor parking facilities, and
specialized parking assets. The operation also supports a robust transportation network designed to meet the evolving mobility needs of one
of the nation’s largest public urban research universities. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of mobility

Salary Range:
$160,000-$190,000
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, public
administration, urban planning, transportation, or a related field. A master’s degree in business administration, public administration,
urban planning, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates should bring a minimum of ten years of directly related professional
experience, including at least ten years of progressively responsible leadership experience in parking, transportation, mobility services,
or another complex, customer-focused operation.
Candidates should also demonstrate expertise in pricing strategy, financial
modeling,
and parking supply-and-demand analysis, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial, operational, and strategic
information
effectively to senior leaders and executive audiences. Experience leading teams, managing organizational change, and overseeing
relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers is essential.
