Job Description
Description of Job Duty:


The main purpose of this job is to support and develop the Offices of Parking & Transportation Services and the Auxiliary Services Department by managing the day-to-day department needs and researching and implementing best practices.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

Assist with issuing parking permits and manage day-to-day office needs, including phone calls, emails, scheduling, departmental purchases, and travel requisitions. Manage the front desk for Parking & Transportation Services. Train and supervise student workers as needed. Assist the Director of Auxiliaries and Parking; Transportation Lead with various projects and support needs. Coordinate all department requests for reserved parking with the University Police Department and Facilities Department. Maintain office equipment, including tablets, ticket printers, copiers, and printers. Represent Parking & Transportation Services at presentations, training sessions, and/or meetings as needed.



Physical Demands:

Indoor office desk work. Regular outdoor walking to inspect and monitor the campus.



Work Hours:



Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Some weekends may be required in the Fall Semester.

Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience. Level S3, Grade 8.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


High school diploma or equivalent. Four (4) years of relevant office experience. Experience with Microsoft Office products. Excellent customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:


Experience in a higher education environment.
