Among the key duties of this positions are the following:

• Assists higher grade baker in performing diversified duties to prepare bakery goods.
• Prepares or assists in the preparation of bakery goods and pastry items for catered affairs using standardized recipes.
• Guides and instructs kitchen helpers.

Minimum Education and Experience

• High school/vocational school education or equivalent, plus one year of baking experience in large volume institutional or restaurant setting.

Certifications/Licenses

• Ability to pass the Food handler’s Certification.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production work sheets in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bagel experience.
• Knowledge of fancy pastries, decorating cakes, writing recipes and mixing dough’s in large quantities.

Special Conditions

• Shift/Hours 6:00pm – 2:30am.
