Job Advert Summary
- We are looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Bookings Clerk to join our Volvo dealership on a maternity cover contract. The ideal candidate will have bookings & administration experience within the automotive industry. The bookings clerk is responsible for working directly with technicians & clients and ensuring that they receive the best service when it comes to queries or booking vehicle services.
Minimum Requirements
- Min Grade 12
- Basic automotive knowledge
- Computer literate (Experience using Evolve essential)
- Proven experience in a similar bookings or service advisor position advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to interact with various departments, suppliers, and customers
- The ability to multi-task as well as good administration and organisational skills
- Good timekeeping and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Proficient in English & Afrikaans
- Clear criminal record
Duties and Responsibilities
- Management of the appointment process
- Coordinate client service bookings between clients and service advisors
- Ensure accuracy of details pertaining to clients, services & issues raised
- Confirmation and reminders of client bookings
- Preparation of job cards
- Service Advisor and/or Costing clerk relief, when required
- Administrative duties as required within the Service department
- Management of the process to ensure CSI
- Adhere to Dealer Standards
