Bus Driver Part Time

General Description of the Position

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Fleet Services, provides driving services for a MCI passenger bus to transport University personnel.

Essential Functions & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Essential Functions:

1. Transport faculty, staff and/or students to various University sponsored events.
2. Maintain drivers log as per ICC regulations.
3. Perform pre and post transport safety inspection of equipment.

Additional Duties And Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate ability to follow oral and written instructions.
2. Transport faculty, staff and students when necessary.
3. Performs other related tasks.

Qualification Standards

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid motor vehicle operator license with CDL (passenger endorsement).
3. Good physical condition as required by State of Delaware for operating motor vehicles.
4. Ability to pass ICC drivers physical.
5. Positive driving record.
6. High moral character and neat appearance.
7. Communicate clearly, orally and in writing.
8. Demonstrate motor vehicle mechanical aptitude.
