Coffee Shop Manager – Job Description

Position Summary
The Thompson Center is growing
and is planning to open its new state of the art facility in March. This modern space will feature an inviting lobby cafe offering coffee,
specialty drinks, and a variety of pre packaged food options for patients, families, staff, and visitors. The Coffee Shop Manager will
oversee the daily operations of the cafe, ensuring high-quality service, efficient workflow, and a welcoming environment for customers and
staff. This role is responsible for leading the cafe team, managing inventory and supplies.



Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day cafe operations to ensure accurate, timely, and friendly order fulfillment
  • Oversee bulk ordering, inventory
    tracking, and purchasing of cafe supplies
  • Train, supervise, and support cafe staff, promoting a positive team oriented work
    environment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Monitor scheduling,
    workflow, and staffing needs to maintain smooth operations
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and
    courtesy
  • Support ongoing staff development, including coaching and mentoring team members
  • Maintain cleanliness,
    organization, and visual appeal of the cafe environment


Shift



Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00
p.m.

Minimum Qualifications


Associate’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and
at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Prior dining services experiencePrior dining services experience preferred.

Salary Range: $18.87 – $34.87 hourly
Grade: GGS – 008
