Customer Service Representative – Temp Summer Position


Position Purpose
The primary objective of this temporary position is to support the Office of Student Financial Services by providing excellent customer service to NEC students and families regarding billing and financial aid. The position will run from approximately June 8 to September 4, 2026.

Essential Duties Summary


  • Perform high quality customer service in the Office of Student Financial Services primarily by phone but also may include email and in person.
  • Promptly answer incoming calls.
  • Assist students to obtain all available funding to cover account balances.
  • Assist students with the completion of financial aid and billing requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent conflict and resolution skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • 1-3 years customer services experience

Preferred Qualifications


  • 1-3 years experience in a student services, financial aid, admissions or billing office.
