The PantherDining Hall at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a
Customer Services Specialist I.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position is responsible for greeting and acknowledging customers,
maintains outstanding solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service standards. This position may require you to be
cross-trained for another position and/or responsibility in order to provide both back-up for a department as well as to supplement
resources needed during certain times of the year.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Attentive to
guest needs; communicates customer request to management. - Accurately and efficiently utilizes POS systems and maintains all cash and
media at the registers. - Maintains awareness of daily menu items and knowledge of meal plans.
- Counts and reconciles funds
during shifts to ensure adequate funds. - Restocks assigned supplies and brochures.
- Accurately records patron counts.
- Maintains neat appearance at the registers and in the front of house areas.
- Keeps beverage machines, napkins holders,
silverware, plates, bowls, and cups filled and maintained. - Helps keep table and service areas clean.
- Performs other related
duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and one year of customer service, administrative, or office
experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous cash
handling experience. - Previous customer service experience.
- Physical Requirements: Extended standing, walking, ability to
bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders. - Ability to work in all temperature conditions.
- Ability to lift 35
pounds. - Flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
