Job Description Summary
The Computational Memory Lab is hiring a Data and Programming Specialist. The selected
candidate will develop new software tools for cutting-edge research on the neural basis of human memory and decision
making.


Job Description

The successful candidate will analyze large multivariate datasets on human memory,
economic choice behavior, and electrophysiology, intracranial EEG data from human participants, and program experiments in Python. Other
responsibilities include: general lab systems administration, including website, file server, and computer cluster; using computer systems
to run analyses of data collected, as well as simulations of memory and decision processes in computer models (data analysis and simulations
are done in Python). Experience with Unity is a plus but is not required.

Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree is required with 0-1 years of experience


  • Expertise in Python programming

    coursework

    Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills,
    and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data
    for the job’s level. Internal organization and peer data at Penn are also considered.
