The position involves milking, feeding and care of dairy cattle and calves at the
Fairchild Dairy Center. You will be working with adjunct hourly and student workers to accomplish the tasks. The dairy operates 7 days a
week, 365 days a year no matter what the weather. Shifts consist of 4-8am and/or 2:30-6:30pm and involves some weekend work.


Job
Duties:

  • Handling of animals and calves.
  • Milking
  • Feeding with mechanized equipment.
  • General clean up at
    end of shift

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large animals
