Posting Summary

Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Graduate Assistant to work in the Department of Health Informatics.

This Graduate Assistant position is designed to support the teacher with various aspects of online teaching, including grading, working individually with students to improve their performance, and answering questions about the course content.


Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Facilitating online lessons, tutorials or discussions in concert with the Instructor.
  • Grade assignments, exams, quizzes, and projects.
  • Maintain and update student grades as an Excel Sheet to be submitted to the Instructor.
  • Assist the Instructor in preparing and sharing reading materials, supplementary notes.


FLSA: Nonexempt


Grade: 99H


Salary Details

$16/hour is budgeted for this position


Minimum Salary: 15.92



Mid Range Salary: 75.00


Maximum Salary: 150.00

Minimum Education and Experience
