Position Summary:


The double haploid project, under the soil and crop department, is hiring a greenhouse worker to assist with the production of winter wheat double haploids for the Mason lab. We anticipate starting date to be April 20th, and the position anticipates consisting of 10 to 20 hours per week. Applicants should be able to show the ability to communicate well with supervisor and work with the proper level of concentration and effort. Resumes are required. Email addresses are required. minimum basic requirements include being a CSU student able to show up for work when they say they are able to do so.

Work Unit Description:


To assist and help develop double haploids for the wheat project.

Essential Job Duties:


  • Will be watering plants, emasculating wheat heads, and picking seeds out of wheat heads, filling pots with soil to get ready for planting

Conditions of Employment:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Able to show up to work and be able to focus and perform duties to proper standards.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Have a love for working with plants and take care in how they treat them.
