Health Educator

Kansas State University

About This Role

The Health
Educator for Student Well-Being & Health Promotion advances a proactive, student-centered approach to health and well-being at Kansas State
University.

This position focuses on equipping students with practical skills and strategies that support holistic well-being,
academic success, and personal development. The role emphasizes building healthy habits and increasing self-awareness in key areas
identified through campus data (e.g., sleep, stress, mental health, and loneliness). The Health Educator develops and delivers
student-facing programming, strengthens peer education efforts, and supports campus-wide initiatives that promote health literacy and
informed decision-making.
In addition to direct education, this position contributes to systems-level efforts that shape a campus
environment supportive of well-being. This includes collaborating with campus partners to align messaging and services, identifying and
reducing barriers to access, and using data and student voice to inform improvements in programs, practices, and policies. The Health
Educator helps advance a coordinated approach that embeds well-being into the broader student experience and institutional
systems.
