About This Role
Conduct and
supervise the day-to-day HR functions of assigned department(s) within the College of Agriculture/K-State Research & Extension’s Business
Services Unit. Manage human resource activities relating to recruitments, on-boarding, hiring, & separations, payroll/time & leave, and
employee relations. Ultimately responsible for all HR functions for the unit(s), hold signature authority for HR documents. Act as unit(s)’
primary contact on higher-level HR matters, uninterrupted services, and process improvements for HR areas. Consult with managers and
employees on HR matters.

This position is On-site.
All employees must reside in the United States
when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the
state of Idaho.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a
high school diploma (or equivalent) and five years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of work experience
and education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to learn quickly, determine priorities, take initiative,
and work independently. - Computer proficiency/ability to learn new systems. This position uses the Microsoft office suite and KState
systems such as PageUp and HRIS. - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in performing highly
detailed tasks - Experience in recruitments
- Experience with K-State HR processes and paperwork
- Experience
responding to needs and requests of a wide range of clients in a friendly and effective manner.
