Woosong University is a specialized institution located in Daejeon, South Korea, recognized for
its global initiatives and innovative higher education programs.
We are currently seeking a qualified HR Specialist to join the
Office of Human Resources. This is a dual-role position that combines international HR administration with teaching responsibilities.
The successful candidate will oversee HR processes for foreign faculty and also teach one course per semester in the Department of
AI·Business Administration.
Position Overview
The HR Specialist will manage personnel processes for foreign
faculty, including recruitment, onboarding, and contract administration. The role requires excellent communication, cross-cultural, and
organizational skills, and the ability to work full-time in an English-speaking professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for foreign faculty (job postings, screening, interviews, etc.)
- Handle
contracts, appointments, reappointments, and related HR documentation - Serve as a liaison for foreign faculty in matters of
employment, immigration, insurance, and housing - Maintain job listings and respond to inquiries on international recruitment
platforms - Provide onboarding and orientation support for new international faculty
- Draft and manage official HR
communications and internal documentation in English - Teach one 3-credit course per semester in your area of expertise within
the Department of AI·Business Administration - Work full-time on-site at the Office of Human Resources
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Minimum
of 3 years of experience in human resources or higher education administration - Excellent communication skills in English (both
written and verbal).
