Caldwell University invites applications for an Human Resources Coordinator. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Human Resources,
the Assistant will provide support to the Human Resources department. The HR Assistant will be the face of the HR department as the position
sits in the front office greeting visitors, candidates, new hires, employees, and students. Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the flow of candidates through the recruitment process from creating and placing jobs ads to assisting in scheduling
interviews to mailing out employment packets to conducting new employee paperwork sessions. Assist HR staff, as needed, with the recruitment
process. Enter new hires into Jenzabar and set up records in ADP for students and adjuncts. Update recruitment records in ADP. Update open
jobs report as needed. - Keep inventory of new hire paperwork and benefit packets, ensuring all documents are current and up to date
with regulations. - Coordinate training logistics and maintain records of training initiatives, employee progress and program
effectiveness including, but not limited to the online anti-harassment and discrimination training for employees, on campus anti-harassment
training for coaches, diversity and inclusion, managing bias, data security and other trainings intended to minimize risk in identified
areas. Send out reminders as needed. Provide status reports. - Assist with preparation of HR events, including reserving rooms,
preparing communications to be sent out to campus and providing other logistical assistance, as needed. Provide onsite event support. Send
event satisfaction surveys and compile results for the HR team to review. Maintain records of attendance. - Provide general office
support, to include photocopying, faxing, preparing and distributing various documents, sorting and delivering mail, filing, answering
telephone, handling inquiries, and keeping inventory of supplies. - Assist the HR team with keeping the electronic files for job
descriptions and organizational charts up to date.
Bachelor’s degree plus 1 to 2 years of effective experience.
