POSITION SUMMARY
The Integrated Systems Analyst (ISA) is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and
effective use of institutional data across the University’s integrated enterprise systems, including its CRM (Slate) and Student Information
System (Jenzabar). ISA will focus on data structures, system logic, integrations, analysis, and validation, working closely with Integrated
Systems leadership, IT, and functional stakeholders to ensure that institutional decisions are supported by reliable and well-governed data
in a higher education environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Monitor, audit, and maintain data quality
across enterprise systems, ensuring consistent definitions, validation rules, and alignment with institutional data standards.
2.
Design, implement, and maintain complex data structures, processing rules, calculated fields, and automated workflows that support
institutional processes and reporting needs.
3. Partner with IT and vendors to support system integrations, including APIs, data
feeds, and file-based exchanges; troubleshoot data discrepancies and integration failures.
4. Develop advanced queries, reports, and
dashboards to support operational analysis, executive reporting, compliance, and strategic planning.
5. Investigate and resolve
discrepancies between systems, reports, and dashboards; serve as a key resource when institutional metrics do not align across platforms.
6. Support the design and enforcement of data access controls, ensuring appropriate permissions, compliance with policies, and
protection of sensitive information.
7. Create and maintain technical documentation for data structures, integrations, business
rules, and reporting logic to support continuity and institutional knowledge.
8. Translate technical findings into actionable
insights for non-technical stakeholders; collaborate with Integrated Systems staff and IT to improve system reliability and performance.

REQUIREMENTS
Must understand, support, and embrace the mission of
Franciscan University of Steubenville and possess the following:
Technical Skills
- Experience with higher
education CRM platforms (e.g., Slate) and Student Information Systems (e.g., Jenzabar, Banner, Colleague) - Excellent
communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential, including experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office
products. - Experience supporting system integrations, including APIs, data feeds, and file-based data exchanges between enterprise
platforms. - Ability to compose written reports, technical documentation, and data analysis requiring considerable interpretation
for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and guidance from external
agencies and internal leadership. - Familiarity with SQL or equivalent query languages; knowledge of data logic, querying tools,
and report-building within enterprise systems.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2-4 years of related
experience
preferred. - Demonstrated experience in data analysis, system administration, and external reporting highly preferred;
working
knowledge of CRM and/or SIS platforms in a higher education setting strongly preferred.
Workplace Factors:
- Some evening and weekend work may be required.
- Must be available to work onsite at the Steubenville, OH campus.
- This position supports partial (hybrid) remote work arrangements to be coordinated between ISA and supervisor.
