The opportunity
As a Legal Clerk Intern, you will work part time (20 hours per week, flexible schedule) in a
paid, 8week summer internship running from June to August. You will earn $20 per hour, totaling $3,200 over the program.
You will
collaborate with Legal Department team members to support a variety of legal projects and administrative needs, including legal research,
drafting, and policy-related work. You will report to an Associate General Counsel and work in a hybrid environment based on our Manchester,
NH campus, with one flexible onsite day per week (Tuesdays or Thursdays). #LIHybrid
What you’ll do:
- Perform legal
research on a broad range of higher education-related matters, using relevant legal resources to address compliance, regulatory, policy, and
other institutional needs. - Recommend updates of Southern New Hampshire University policies
- Attend meetings with legal
team - Produce a writing sample based on your projects for use in future employment pursuits
What we’re looking
for:
- Student currently enrolled in accredited Law School
- Familiarity with legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw,
LexisNexis)

Compensation
The anticipated pay for this position is $20.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications,
experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
