Who We Are
The University of Michigan-Dearborn (UM-Dearborn) is one of three campuses of the University
of Michigan. UM-Dearborn is a comprehensive university offering high quality undergraduate, graduate, professional and continuing education
to residents of southeastern Michigan, and currently enrolls more than 8,000 students. The College of Business is AACSB accredited and
offers a BBA degree with nine concentrations, an MBA degree that can be completed both in-class and online, as well as MS degrees in
Accounting, Finance, Finance Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and Information
Systems. The campus is strategically located on 200 suburban acres of the original Henry Ford Estate in the Greater Detroit Metropolitan
region. Dearborn is located midway between Detroit and Ann Arbor and allows for a short commute from Ann Arbor, Detroit, the Detroit

Job Summary
The College of Business at the University of
Michigan-Dearborn is seeking applications for a part-time lecturer in Behavioral Marketing, starting September 2026, teaching introductory
and/or upper-level marketing courses. Experience in some combination of the following areas is desired: expertise including consumer
decision making, digital consumer behavior, branding, and market influence; use of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and consumer
insights to drive content creation; ability to connect behavioral theories to contemporary marketplace practice and engage students through
industry-relevant teaching. The ability to teach at the graduate level is preferred.
The assigned effort will be 50%
effort.
The selected candidate is expected to work during the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 semesters. The interview and selection
process will run
from June 3 through July 10, 2026. If a qualified candidate is identified, an offer is anticipated to be extended on or
before July 30, 2026.
Required Qualifications*
Successful candidates must have a graduate degree in
Marketing, Management, or related disciplines (Master’s or Ph.D.). Other professional qualifications, previous experience teaching marketing
or psychology at the university level, recent relevant work experience, and/or a history of scholarly research and publications, are highly
preferred. Support for professional development is available.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M
and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other
