Job Summary:
The Department of
Mathematics employees proctors to help instructors during testing at the JAC Math Lab (4 weeks per semester with Final Exam week optional).
The JAC Math Lab is the departmental testing center.
Job Description:
- Proctors report to the Instructor on duty during
testing and must follow their directions. - At various times the employee will be checking students in at a check-in desk or walking
around the testing lab watching for cheating, helping with technology issues, etc. - Proctors must be welcoming to students, be
present at all times during shifts, and work well with other proctors. - If a proctor must miss a shift, it is their responsibility
to find someone to cover the shift and to notify the appropriate contacts of the absence.
