The Employee Engagement Department
is a team that loves to work hard and play hard. We collaborate on ways to ensure new employees feel welcome joining the UAA campus while

To thrive in this role you will need to be highly organized and
detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. You possess strong writing,
editing, and proofreading skills, enabling you to produce clear, polished, and professional communications. You are comfortable learning new
technologies and software and can quickly adapt to changing tools and processes. Additionally, you work effectively both independently and
collaboratively, contributing positively to team goals while taking initiative on individual assignments.
The ideal candidate brings
at least one year of relevant experience in administrative support, project management, event planning, and/or media and communications,
demonstrating the ability to coordinate projects, manage logistics, and support organizational objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations,
Communications, Graphic Arts or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Position
Details:
This position is located on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus. This is a full-time, exempt staff position
complete with both a competitive salary and full employee
benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year,
tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the
UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 79, based on education and
experience.
