Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network security infrastructure to protect our systems and data from security threats

Essential Role Responsibilities:
Network Security Design and Implementation: Design and implement secure network solutions to protect the organization’s network infrastructure. Configure and manage security devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents in a timely manner. Conduct forensic analysis of network security incidents and implement corrective actions.
Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses. Implement security patches and updates to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
Policy Development and Enforcement: Develop, implement, and enforce network security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure a cohesive security strategy. Provide training and guidance to staff on network security best practices.Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience Required:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in network security or related roles. Hands-on experience with configuring and managing network security devices. Proven experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and network security tools. Strong understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies. Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.Preferred Experience:
