Job Description

The Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Department is seeking quality
candidates to fill the role of Office Support Assistant IV. This position provides administrative support to the department, including
payroll processing, student hiring, and travel coordination. This role ensures accuracy, compliance with institutional policies, and
efficient financial operations while supporting faculty, staff, and students.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Process
    student hiring, onboarding, and system entry
  • Administer biweekly payroll for student employees and departmental hourly
    staff
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Serve as custodian for student and staff One
    Cards
  • Process travel authorizations and reimbursements in compliance with policies and procedures
  • Prepare and process non-PO
    vouchers, ensuring proper documentation and accurate coding
  • Assist collaboratively for arranging department functions
  • Other
    duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications


High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of
experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience and efficiency in administrative support.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to
    detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft
    Office applications.
  • Proficiency in multiple computer applications and experience with PeopleSoft or similar enterprise financial
    systems is preferred.
  • Possess a broad understanding of financial and/or accounting responsibility.
  • Familiarity with
    contracts, agreements, and related administrative or financial processes.

Anticipated Hiring Range



The
anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.50-$20.32 hourly.


Salary is determined by a variety of
factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as
organizational requirements.
